A biochemistry major, Jessica was widely liked and respected as a student. She was a key leader in KEWL (Knowledge Empowering Women Leaders), Head Peer Counselor, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority Scholarship Chair, a student member of both the faculty’s academic policy committee and of the Women’s Studies Advisory Committee, R.E. Lee Summer Research Fellow, W&L Writing Tutor, and Stonewall Jackson Hospital Volunteer. Her selflessness and personal convictions are leading her to study at Duke Medical School with the possibility of law school beyond that.
