Spring Term Guidelines
For a 1-credit spring term course, must include at least 3 hours of direct contact with faculty and an additional minimum of 6 hours of instructional time in- or out-of-class work for each student per week. Basic class blocks can be chosen from below and modified to shorten or meet fewer days as appropriate.
For a 3-credit spring term course, contact time must include at least 9 hours of direct contact with faculty and an additional minimum of 18 hours of instructional time in- or out-of-class work for each student per week.
For a 4-credit spring term course, contact time must include at least 12 hours of direct contact with faculty and an additional minimum of 24 hours of instructional time in- or out-of-class work for each student per week.
In order to schedule PE courses compatibly with 3- or 4-credit courses, faculty teaching without off-campus activities should attempt to choose class times that leave one of the PE class blocks available.

9:30 am – 11:30 am
9:30 am – 11:45 am
10:15 am – 12:30 pm
10:30 am – 12:30 pm
12:45 pm – 2:45 pm
12:45 pm – 3:00 pm
1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
1:30 pm – 3:45 pm
2:45 pm – 4:45 pm
2:45 pm – 5:00 pm
3 - 3-1/2 hr blocks
8:30 am – 12:00 noon
9:00 am – 12:00 noon
9:00 am – 12:30 pm
