The First Sod is Turned
October 2021
On Monday 18 October 2021, College Principal Dr Lavorato, together with our 2022 College Captains; Michael Bejjani, Blake Timillero, Adrian Biscotto and Junior School Captains; Luca Serratore, Samuel Naccarella and Daniel Sleiman, officially broke the ground on the site of our new building development. Also in attendance were members from the team at Hansen Yuncken, Ciaran Nolan, Ross Pearson, Mona El Arjah and Old Boy Matthew O’Grady (’88).
This significant milestone signals the start of what promises to be a very exciting chapter in the development of our College.Ìý
Builders AppointedÌý
August 2021
We are pleased to announce that Hansen Yuncken has been appointed as the builders for our project. Their methodology for building this facility whilst minimising the impact on Breen Oval made them stand out from other tenderers.
Winners of the Design Competition
March 2019
An architectural competition was launched by the College in which a field of over a dozen candidates was narrowed down, with three to participate in a final design competition. From this, Architects BVN are nominated as the successful applicant to design the First Stage of our Capital Masterplan; the Scientia Building.
